Annual Reports, Funding Pitches & Information Memorandums
What I've come to realise with funding projects and Information Memorandums is that you have to be really good at telling your story and backing it up with facts and figures that support it (the narrative and the numbers). And not only do you need to be good at story-telling, but you also need to be succinct and aligned with what the audience is looking for. My skill is in distilling your story into soundbites that capture people's imagination. As I have said to many organisations, you have to remember that most recipients are busy people and there are lots of organisations vying for their attention (and their funds). As a result, make sure that your story is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to say yes to.
